This is the National Endowment for Democracy’s (NED) homepage. The site contains links to information about NED’s grants, fellowships, events, publications, and research database. The Endowment is guided by the belief that freedom is a universal human aspiration that can be realized through the development of democratic institutions, procedures, and values. The National Endowment for Democracy funds a variety of Burma related projects and programs including, capacity and institutional building programs, education outreach, humanitarian assistance efforts, and information and media projects.
