This elections manual is an update of the DG Office's Managing Democratic Electoral Assistance - A Practical Guide for USAID published in 1995. It is based on a series of studies in four key areas of assistance - political party development, elections administration, local elections, and post-elections. These studies were informed by a series of nine case studies.
