UNDP Oslo Governance Centre is UNDP's global facility on democratic governance. The Centre has been established to enhance programme activities and the advisory role of UNDP in the area of democratic governance. Its objective is to support countries in implementing democratic reforms necessary to achieve the Millennium Development Goals. The Centre has a special focus and competency in the area of access to justice, human rights, civil society, and governance and conflict prevention.
