This site informs the public that Burma, Thailand and China have been pushing forward with their plans to put up dams along the Salween River. These dams will affect the local ethnic people living within the vicinity of the Salween River. The construction of these dams will usher in gross human rights violations and massive population displacement. Many other factors need to be considered, i.e.- the forest, animal species, physical changes, flooding, etc.
